The B1 Standard has a lot of blade feel but I find it very smooth and of course close. The brother of the Standard is the Tek which is the aluminum sintered version.

Tuesday Morning 18/03/25

• Razor Head : Green Cult SS 1.0 (Austria).
• Handle : RazoRock Halo TI.
• Blade : Voskhod Stainless PTFE (1).
• Brush : Yaqi Mocha (Matcha) synthetic.
• Soap : RazoRock Puros.
• Aftershave : Razozero Protettivo.
• Razor weight : 92 grams.

Hi all,
I had a brilliant shave this morning with the Green Cult SS 1.0. (first shave)
When I got this razor the pervious owner shorted the handle by quite a bit after looking at pics of it online.
It didn't feel good in my hand the RazoRock handle is perfect in my opinion for weight and balance.
I agree entirely with @Errol review on the Green Cult (check it out its a great read).
The razor easily sliced through five days growth and straight away I realized it must be respected.
I would not recommend this razor if you prefer razors on the mild side because it can bite.
It gave me a small weeper below my lip and a small nick on my Adams apple.

The RazoRock Puros works well its scent of fresh cut tobacco and leather is very nice. ( And I'm not a smoker)

One pass WTG and just a touch up pass ATG done. (ATG pass hardly needed)

All razors can bite. Including those multi-blade thingies you see at Colesworths. I once sported a neat quadruple incision from such folly...

Straight razors don't bite. They just gently remove those annoying facial imperfections like noses, lips, ears and Adam's apples.

That brush handle is gorgeous. I have been thinking about a somewhat similar profile for my next @TroyTools custom brush, which I won't be asking for until 2026. Plenty of time to get the design just right...
