Tucked on fort road close to Leh market , off the main road, up a trail next to rapid stream/nullah is this very lovely restaurant , serving good authentic Chinese grub. It's on the fort road culminating near the leh main market . One has to climb up the stairs to reach(difficult for oldies and arthritics). It has both inside and open terrace seating. Plays good soft English numbers. The Food is good , tasty and served very clean. Thw ambience on the terrace in the evenings is really cool. The momos , the thukpas, the Schezwan chicken noodles , veg Hakka noodles are real good. The flavours original , oil is controlled and the helpings healthy. For a sumptuous dinner it doesn't tax the pocket either. Costs around 1200-1400 for three .

Food was good, ordered Thupka and Katsu curry, & 1co*ck. costs us 770. Location was also ok and sitting space was good. But they are asking for service charges and the co*ke they served it was 90rs. Print rate was 30rs. On thire menu it was written 70rs, but the hotel guy said "We have served you on bottle so it's 90 and 1glass co*ke is 70". Just a way of making fool of customers. Personally I will not recommend this hotel to my family members. There are other good options available in Leh Market.

Nice place with laid back outdoor seating and a chilled out ambience.. The momos and fresh spring rolls were really good but the soup was quite oily! We ordered Veg Pad Thai which was quite disappointing. We also couldn't have beer as it was just before election time.

This is one of my most favourite restaurants now. I will make sure to visit this place whenever I visit Leh. Can't recommend a single dish, whatever I had was delicious. Please try all of their signature dishes and ask the server for recommendations.

Overall the food was edible but not anywhere close to authentic Thai food. The rice was a little hard that seems like overnight rice. They gave reasonable amount of chicken pieces. Maybe the local food may be better but we went with food items that had chef recommendation. Service however was great. The place has a stunning view of the mountains.

The creatively named Chopsticks Noodle Bar, serves a lot more than noodles. It's Leh's truly best East Asian cuisine restaurant, with an eclectic range of much loved Japanese, Thai, Chinese and Tibetan dishes. The decor though minimal has real cut table flowers, oversized Japanese fans, an umbrella and a Thai Buddha statue at the entrance. The indoor dining area has wooden tables with cushioned benches, which could be a bit hard on those with back issues. Fear not, there's a huge outdoor terrace dining area under bright pink tents, which has platform seating with cushions around low tables, perfect for those who want to dine and relax for a longer time. The menu has favourites such as teriyaki chicken and Thai curries. Rather typical when faced with abundant choice, I decided to stick to what I thought was familiar - Thai Green Curry Fried Rice. That was the first disappointment, coz it was just fried rice, not a green curry with rice as an accompaniment. The second disappointment was, there was nothing Thai about it. The quantity for the price - USD 2.75 - wasn't substantial either, and the dish was a bit thin on the chicken. Anyway, I spiced up the rice with red chilly sauce, white chilly sauce, and Thai soy sauce, and decided to use this disappointment to try out my chopstick skills. Yes, they've chopsticks, which is a real plus. There's something magical about slow eating with chopsticks, coz I enjoyed my lunch thereafter. The indoor dining area was full with a global clientele. There was a large Thai group on my left and an equally sizeable Israeli group on my right. The Chopsticks is certainly a very popular restaurant.

This place has a very nice ambience! Great place to chill with family and friends. The food and hospitality just adds to it. This place has the option to sit outside as well as inside! Do try the Thukpa... you would get the authentic feel of Ladhak!

A beautiful open air restaurant having unbelievable mountain views. The food is good especially the pizzas and starters, the main course we tried wasn't as good as the starters. You do get beers here which is a good thing as there is shortage of alcohol in leh. Overall a restaurant worth visiting.

One of the best off the beat chill vibe cafe in leh. Location is tricky but just walkable distance from mall Road. Ambience is awesome, food is good but little expensive. Better to go at evening by 5:30 PM.

Overall I recommend this restaurant. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but you do get great food and very nice view of the Himalaya mountains. I recommend to get there at 6pm to enjoy the view as much as possible

Perfect place for a good dinner in Leh. Very good food and cozy atmosphere.

Good food and great ambience. Nested amidst no where, this place gives you a true "in the mountains" feel. We tried 2 types of Pizzas. Both were tasty and cooked well. Place is decorated nicely and a lot of natural light seeps in making the place feel more welcoming. Washrooms were clean as well. Overall a must visit when in Leh

Loved the place. The ambience is great. We ordered the naan with 3 dips as an appetizer which was yum, the cashew encrusted chicken with potatoes was really very good along with the coriander pesto pasta which I tried for the 1st time and loved. Must try the pinacitta was so fresh and melted in my mouth.

This is supposed to be a pesto pasta? Really?I also ordered grilled chicken and to my surprise it was with bone and no herbs, where it said it's herb chicken. Very very disappointing. Staff is decent, service is decent, but you cannot visit this place for authentic food. They are just running.

Bon Appetit was a delightful experience. The place is a little hard to find and you can only walk to it, so park your vehicles outside. The comfortable ambience and delicious food makes for a perfect evening. I would recommend the Chicken Katzu and Pizzas. In desserts we had Apricot Cream, which we ended up repeating thrice. Sea buckthorn juice can be found everywhere in Leh. The one by Sindhu Fruit Processing is the superior one, avoid the one by Jimpo.

Hey parsa well I'm glad here to write about your parsa kargil I had been there 2 -3 times however it was avery hard year for all human kind as COVID wave that time it was closed whole year after post COVID the parsa kargil was opened i witnessed that the food and service are nice but from last year 2022 to 23 n so on I did see anyone visiting there reason I don't know.

The best cafe in the town. On the road to leh, just in front of the mighty Suru. A nice stop over for biker brotherhood. Best rolls and biryani in the state. The interiors are very cozy and creative. You will find books to read. And it is promising a lot of cultural events. The host is very generous and courteous. And so is the staff.

Ok type hotel to stay in Kargil. Little bit away from the market area. Food and breakfast are good. Service is ok due to less staff but does provide with almost all your requirement. Parking facility for bike and car is available. Overlooking Leh highway and Lake.

During my trip to Kargil I had opportunity to stay at hotel Rangyul. As a solo traveler on a tight budget I appreciated the reasonable pricing without compromising on quality the hotel offers excellent value for money.making it a great option for those looking to save on accommodation cost. All over my experience my good 👍

Worst Experience! Never ever book this hotel. We tasted many food. Briyani was not so tasty, the filling in the Momo was all filthy.Fry Rice & chowmein was good.Coffee was tasty.

It's a lovely restaurant with a great view of Suru River in Kargil. We went there for dinner after strolling along the walkway in the Tourism Facilitation Center compound (which was also gorgeous!).The food was decent but not great. We tried Ladakhi food here - chicken thukpa and mutton thenthuk. The meat was a little dry and not juicy but the soups tasted quite good. The service was also very nice. Even though we were seated on the rooftop, the waiters had walkie talkies to quickly communicate with the kitchen on food updates. We got the food in reasonably good time as we enjoyed the sunset until the food arrived.

Very nice place with a beautiful view .. we ordered 2 coffee, 2 French fries, 1 chicken fried rice, 2 sandwich for 5 ppl and paid 800 which is not at all bad .. coffee was very nice, fried rice was not that good

During my visit to Kargil I found Kargil caffeteria, one of the best food experiences in kargil . The food was tasty , place was hygienic and the owner is damn friendly :) .It's n the main highway and quite accessible too.

MUST STAY in Kargil !!It was a great stay. Magnificent place, spent a spectacular time of my life while being at this resort. Pleasant environment among the raised mountains. If you’re visiting Kargil or surrounding, you can undoubtedly think of this place to stay.

A very comfortable stay. The staff were helpful and very good in their services. The restaurant is good as well. We were happy that the chef readily prepared some local food items that we asked for. Most of all, we found the owner Mr Ali a very reverential person who helped us plan our local visits. We found him to be a very articulate and knowledgeable person and it was a delight to chat with him about the history and current affairs of the district of kargil. I am happy to recommend this place with enthusiasm.

Very nice resort on the outskirts of Kargil town. It has an electric blanket facility which kept us warm through the night 😊. We got a room with a geyser and there was electricity supply throughout the day. So we got hot water.The location was nice and the rooms were good enough for a night's stay.Overall a good resort to spend a night in Kargil and you can visit the Drass war memorial from there...

This was our 2nd stay, and needless to stay we love this place. Truly the one of best places to stay at kargil, beautiful location with great views from all the cottages. The hotel is beautifully maintained. The warmth and care provided by host had really made us feel at home. It was very cold but the staffs made us feel comfortable. The food was delicious, we enjoyed every bite of it.

The Resort is very good one on the outskirts of Kargil. The location is really peaceful and nice. The people are very nice and warm. A true gem in Kargil! I tried a coffee, a shake and a burger and all were well prepared and super tasty. I enjoyed the chill atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Kargil!

Vibes and ambience were really good, loved it. We had vegetarian pasta which was not in menu and was made especially for us since we requested it. It was very yummy, they had seasoned it well. Fusili pasta with paneer, olives and capsicum was prepared for us. Vegetarian pizza options are available but not much options in other varities. Only suggestion is to add more vegetarian options in the menu.

Average food, doesn't stand out, home made pizza base but no exception sauce, quite bland. A solid 2 star.
